Cruises

Cruising is one of Ellen and I’s favorite ways to vacation. There’s just something about knowing that most, if not all your expenses have already been considered and paid for before you get on the ship. Every cruise we have been on has provided a cabin steward, great wait staff and a lot of things to do…or NOT do. Once on board, it is amazing to us how truly restful it is. I think it’s the combination of the extraordinary environment, the eat whatever-whenever, the endless entertainment, the exotic ports, and mostly…the option to do absolutely NOTHING. We sleep well, have coffee delivered to the room, sit on the balcony, read, and talk. Then we get breakfast, do something fun, lunch, nap, get a snack, do something fun, have dinner, see a show…or NOT. It is just so easy to enjoy each day. On port days we have done everything from driving ATV’s through the jungle, snorkeling coral reefs, riding ziplines over canyons, whale watching or just sitting on a white sand beach with turquoise water as we pretend to read a book. For those leery of cruising, Ellen has motion sickness issues, and so does my son. They both love cruising. In the past, I needed to keep busy. There’s no end of ways to “play” and stay active.

The company I am with, FORA, is constantly running wonderful specials with our endless list of cruise partners. I will use this place to keep people informed and updated about specials we have for the partners I focus on. However, I don’t believe there is a company we don’t work with. The worst that could happen is that you pay the same and you have someone who will personally care for you if the need should arise. However, more often than not, I have been able to save people money and add value.
